Olga Kokcharova

Olga is a sound artist and musician interested in everything audible independently of the medium. She privileges a meticulous sound recording but also experiments in circumstances where the recording material is put to the test.

She uses the sources thus obtained to create multi-channel electro-acoustic compositions or improvisations, soundtracks, performances or sound installations in the public space.
Several of her projects are inspired by linguistics and research on language.

Olga was born in Siberia and is now based in Geneva.
